Never Forsaken

Wednesday Night Bible Studies has been awesome as Bishop Clark has been walking us through the books of the Bible starting with Genesis and now Exodus. Exodus means departure and I am so glad that redemption came from Egypt, which represents the world’s system into the Kingdom of our God. Bishop Clark said one of the keywords you will see throughout the Book of Exodus is the word redemption, and redemption has to do with being set free from captivity or slavery.

It was this verse that spoke to me coming from Exodus 15:13 (NIV), “In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling”. I was so reminded of God’s love for us in that not only has He redeemed us but His strength and not mine, guide me to that place He has for me. I rest in that idea of knowing that I am never forsaken.
