Operation Faith

Operation Faith

In this season, many believers find themselves being tossed to and fro by different winds of doctrine. The enemy of our souls is actively working to sow fear and doubt even within institutions once considered stable, such as the Postal Service, voting rights, the election process, and civil liberties.

The language of our day reflects this tension. Words like unprecedented, pandemic, crisis, isolation, chaos, and uncertainty dominate conversations.

If all of these could be summed up in one word, it would be this:

Uncertainty.

God Is Certain in Uncertain Times

Even though we may not fully understand the times we are living in, one truth remains unchanged:

God is still in control. This does not mean we will avoid difficulty. Scripture reminds us that in this world, we will face trouble. Life will bring challenges, pressures, and moments of uncertainty.

Yet even as we experience uncertainty, God remains unchanging and certain. That may feel like a contradiction, but it is truth. Mankind may waver. Circumstances may shift. But God does not.

Faith: The Currency of the Kingdom

So how do we maintain strong faith during challenging times? Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is how we access the grace of God, not through good works or intentions, but through faith.

Scripture makes it clear: it is not by works of righteousness that we are sustained, but by faith.

Jesus said to the blind men: “Be it unto you according to your faith.”

Their condition was uncertain, but their outcome was determined by their faith. And the same is true for us today. Your faith in uncertain times will determine your victory, your endurance, and your perspective. All the riches of God’s grace are accessed through faith.

Truth Point #1: The Object of Our Faith Is God

Faith is only as strong as the object in which it is placed.

Our faith is not in positive thinking.
It is not in wishful hoping.
It is not in our own effort.

The object of our faith is the living God. We must be confident in whom we believe. Our foundation must be built on nothing less than Jesus Christ—His sacrifice and His righteousness.

Scripture tells us:

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”

In uncertain times, focus matters.

Do not look at others.
Do not look at yourself.
Do not focus on the wind, the waves, or the circumstances.

Look to Jesus. He is both the starting point and the sustaining power of your faith.

Truth Point #2: Faith Must Be Tested

Testing is not optional, but it is essential.

Every believer will experience seasons where their faith is challenged. These moments are part of God’s process for growth and development. Just as gold and silver are refined by fire, faith is strengthened through testing.

Abraham provides a powerful example. Scripture says: “…he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.”

Abraham’s faith was tested when God instructed him to sacrifice his son Isaac the very promise he had waited 25 years to receive.

Mount Moriah became a place for testing. A place of isolation. A place where Abraham had to choose between what he saw and what he believed.

Your Moment of Testing

Each of us will face moments like this.

There will be times—whether during a pandemic or personal uncertainty—when we are called to demonstrate what we profess. Moments where God allows our faith to be tested—not to harm us, but to strengthen us. Moments where it becomes evident whether we truly trust, rely on, and stand on the Word of God.

Final Thought

Faith is not proven in comfort—it is revealed in challenge.

In uncertain times, we must remain anchored in the One who is certain.

Stand firm.
Trust God completely.
And allow your faith to operate—fully and boldly.
