No Better Sacrifice…Love at Its Best

We all need to know and experience the presence, power, and love of God in our lives. We need to know that God deeply loves us and wants the very best for us. This is why He made provisions before the world began, and He would send His son, Jesus Christ, to die an innocent death to show us love at its best. God knows that we need a faith that identifies with His existence, and His existence in our lives. He made a way for us to personally know the saving knowledge of Jesus, and how we can become His very own children by accepting Him into our hearts. When we become His children, our existence is now eternal with Him. There’s no greater sacrifice in this world.

We are able to transcend into deeper dimensions and levels of maturity in our faith, while using God as our anchor and master. He hides us when needed, and exposes us for His glory.
Discipline is another attribute of His love and faithfulness. It is His way of perfecting all that
concerns us, because He loves us with His whole heart, just as He desires that we love Him with ours. True love wants a person’s betterment to take place. It wants to see their goodness and their prosperity. Anything less is not God’s best.

His love affords us the ability to love others the way He loves and cares for us. The love of God carries us through our day-to-day lives. The obstacles and disappointments we face just aren’t the same when we tap into God’s healing presence, and allow Him to lead and guide our days according to His perfect will. He never intended for us to live comfortless, as He is the Comforter, and a continuous present help in time of need, every day, for everyone. This knowledge is so amazing in itself! His infinite power and omnipresence is here with us. He knows what we are feeling and thinking. He knows our plans; He knows our faults. Yet, He is faithful, and steers us in the right direction so we may be pleasing in His sight. God provides a sustaining love.

As we celebrate the reason for this season, let us remember our joy is not in Easter eggs or
chocolate bunnies, but in the sacrificial love of God. When he sent Jesus in the form of man, to die an innocent death in place of our sins, he showed us love at its best. There is no greater love, no better sacrifice.
