Empowered through God’s Faithfulness

Empowered through God’s Faithfulness

I’m sure that we all can relate to different situations this year or in the past, where we
have experienced pain and hurt of various types. There may have been many times where we
have wanted to give up and throw in the towel of hope and encouragement. I’m sure we all can get to a place where we’re sick of being optimistic on certain things, and we just want to be done with it all. This is when we are to remember the grace that our heavenly Father provides us, and enables us to tap into. Just when we’re ready to give up, God sends an endowment of peace and restoration that only He can provide. Through His faithfulness, God always lends a helping hand, and supplies all of our needs according to His riches in heaven. I can’t think of one time that the grace and mercies of God have not shielded my life. I’m sure that my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ will agree.

I’m thankful that the faithfulness of God has helped me to remember all that He has
restored and sustained in my life, and in the lives of my loved ones this year. In God’s
faithfulness He renews our zeal and zest for life so we’re able to serve Him with our whole
heart. Serving God with our “whole heart” implies or signifies that we’re completely
committed to the Father, and His will for us. He makes sure that our commitment is on point
and pleasing to Him. No parent desires to feel partial love from their children, and it’s no
different with our heavenly Father, the Creator of our souls. So we’re fortified, renewed, and
revitalized to be an example and witness in the earth of His goodness. We’re able to accelerate into the New Year with our gifts and callings that He has placed upon us, because He’s faithful to show His love and commitment.

Please don’t feel that we should be free from afflictions or trying times, because many
are the afflictions of the righteous; but God delivers us from them all… yes, all. It can’t get more faithful than that! Believe that God’s Word is true, because it is! There’s comfort in depending on God and remembering His promises. He is concerned with every detail of our lives, and loves when we’re confident enough to talk to Him through His Word, and recite back to Him, His declarations to us. He loves it when we let Him know that we’re listening and attentive to Him. That’s what communication with the Father is all about, a reciprocated relationship, not a one-sided relationship we’re just waiting to hear from Him.

Let’s speak into our existence the good things which are to come for our New Year
which is approaching, and the New Years to follow. Let’s wait in expectancy for all good and
perfect gifts that can only come from God. We’re to thank God daily for His abundance in our
daily living, and ask for courage from God to do the miraculous in our lives! We should want to
be used by God like never before. Let’s go with a mindset and a behavior that God desires to
fulfill new experiences with His people. But God wants us to be willing, and yielded to the shifts He has in place for us. It is necessary to look to God with an open heart so we may possess our future. We will be tested; we will shift and transition in different areas, but as long as God gets the glory, and HE is magnified, we need to allow our wills to decrease so His Will shines through.

It’s necessary to thank God for what He has done, and proceed with an expectation for
the new things and journeys coming in our lives. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. There is room for us all at His feet and mercy. Everyone is useful and valuable in the body of Christ; and God is faithful to all of His children. In order to successfully move forward it’s necessary to operate in the faith that God will never leave us alone; there’s a plan for each of our lives. Let’s listen with expectation and zeal for the heart of God for our next step and plan for the New Year ahead. For He who leads and guides us is Faithful.
