Bitter Sweet Moments With Jesus

Bitter Sweet Moments With Jesus

Bitter Sweet Moments With Jesus

From the teaching series ‘Close Ranks, Repair The Breach’; Bishop challenged a pessimistic mindset through his message, “Bitter Sweet Moments With Jesus”. He said we need to know where we are in God. Our current state is salvation present. A state where we must be interdependent in Christ. Meaning we must abide in Jesus to sustain us and keep us in right standing with the Father. In return, when Christ is revealed, we shall be like Him and we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:2.

Truth Revealed BlogGod will always send His Word to speak His heart in time. This Word came to me before hearing Bishop’s teaching. “You ought to be grateful. Is it you that upholds the root or the root that sustains you? Come from under the tree Elijah, I’ve got 7,000 more just like you that have not bowed their knee to Baal. You ought to be grateful.”  God was saying don’t you ever think you can serve me own your own. Don’t you ever think you can be without the body(church) which is in my Son. Your frustration is not a reality! It is a mindset of deception that can cut you from The Branch if you don’t keep your thoughts on Me.

He said, “Don’t get it twisted, you’re in the right place! Do you know that these branches have only been cut off for a time? Such that, in their fall you will obtain grace through Faith? So get your mind right.” Romans 11 testifies of this revelation. I had never read it like that before on my own. Bishop confirmed this hearing in his message, ‘Bitter Sweet Moments with Jesus’. From a different text and through the Spirit of Wisdom; God’s proceeding Word came to purify my thoughts, to close a rank and repair a breach.

You see, at times we can get in a place where we think we are the only one praying, the only one laboring, the only one rising to the occasion; and we will begin to curse our brothers and sisters in Christ for not being on the line with us. God said, “I have 7,000 more just like you!” We have nothing to boast. We were created to will and do of His good pleasure. We ought to be grateful of the privilege to serve, to give, to war or whatever it is we grow weary of. And if you need strength ask for it (with a pure heart) and it shall be given.

My prayer is that we will surrender our lives as willing vessels and submit to the process of purification. By this, what our Spirits groan to inhabit, our faith will obtain through His Glory. I can ONLY be grateful. God is not slack concerning His Word. He is surely watching over it to perform it.
