Many of us often connect the word consequence with a negative repercussion. However, what we must understand is the word simply means, “aftermath.” When our prayers are sincere, they move the heart and hand of God, and we experience the consequences of prayer in a positive light. This gives us a definite reason to rejoice since we have gained our heavenly Fathers attention. All of a sudden, being the just God that He is, He will proceed in making many different alterations in our lives!

We will experience not only healing for what was giving us the most grief, but we will experience residual healing and realize that other physical issues we’ve swept under the rug for years, have been swept away. We will also realize that our spiritual lives will take a magnigficient turn for the better! When prayer becomes easier and more fervent, we will experience an overwhelming peace, knowing we have been forgiven. Faith becomes solid and resistance to the devil becomes even stronger. Soon others around us will say, “WOW, something about you has really changed!” Yet, we know that it’s not, “something,” but “someone,” which is the Holy Spirit!

Overall, there are consequences we should eargerly look forward to receive because we know our prayers really cause God’s ears to be open and receptive to our requests. We should look forward to the “aftermath” of prayers from the depth of our souls, knowing that God will be more attentive to our cries, and in turn, give us the desires of our hearts.
