I’m New

Truth Revealed International Ministries (TRIM) is fearlessly led by Bishop Merton L. Clark. We are all about two things: Jesus and His Word! TRIM is a creative and a fully-charged church where no perfect people are allowed. Attending a church for the first time can be intimidating. “Will they accept me?… I know very little about the Bible… I think God exists, but I have my doubts”. We get all that! So, here are a few questions with answers about TRIM that might help break the ice.

Do you offer transportation?

Yes. We offer transportation to Sunday Services. Need a ride to church? Follow this link to our contact Page, tell us what your transportation needs are, and we will confirm your request.

Do you have a parking lot?

Yes, we have a parking lot. We also have additional parking across the street from the Church building.

How should I dress?

However you feel most comfortable. We do not have a dress code. Some worship in jeans and sneakers, others worship in suits and leather-soled shoes. We don’t believe that Jesus cares what you wear, and neither do we.

Do you ask visitors to stand?

We do not ask visitors to stand. We do ask visitors to raise a hand so that we may locate you and welcome you with a visitors’ packet. It is important to us that visitors be able to worship intimately and comfortably. However, we hope that you will introduce yourselves to us after the worship service. We love to see new faces.

What time are your worship services?

Our Sunday services begin at 8:00AM, and 11:00AM. Our Wednesday Bible Study begins at 7:00PM. Services are also streamed live, via our website. For more information, please visit our Live Broadcast page.

What’s your service like?

Service begins with joyful music, led by our Praise and Worship Ministry. Yes, we do take up an offering.  No, we don’t have expectations for a certain amount of giving.  Whatever the Lord lays on your heart to give.  The Word of God is preached here, pretty straightforward, and altar calls are offered. We share the Communion cup and bread the first Sunday of each month, if that helps you to know.  All of this together is what we call “Worship” and it is all designed to glorify God.

What about my children?

At Truth Revealed, your children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a fantastic children’s ministry as well as opportunities to students from junior high through high school to connect, grow and serve in a way that will be life-changing. If you have a child 4th grade or younger, we recommend you arrive a few minutes before service begins and check them into our Christian Education Department. The Check in station is located in the Fellowship Hall.

Do you offer a weekly Bible Study?

Yes, weekly Bible study takes place on Wednesdays at 7:00PM.

What must I do to become a member of TRIM?

Membership involves a couple of steps. The first is the confession of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. The second requires the completion of our New Members’ Classes. Classes are held in the main Sanctuary every Saturday at 12:00PM. Contact: assimilation@akx.yvb.mybluehost.me
